Camden, NJ--Robert Glasper, award-winning Blue Note recording artist and pianist will perform on Saturday, February 24th at 8 pm at the First Annual Gordon Theater Jazz Festival at Rutgers- Camden Center for the Arts' Gordon Theater, 3rd & Pearl Street, Camden New Jersey.

Robert Glasper will perform original compositions from his upcoming Blue Note CD “In My Element." While a younger generation may know 27 year-old pianist Robert Glasper from collaborations with Mos Def, Bilal, and a Tribe Called Quest's Q-Tip, diehard jazz fans recognize him as the latest addition to the Blue Note Records legacy.

The GORDON THEATER JAZZ FESTIVAL kicks off on Saturday, January 27th and runs through March 31st with performances by saxophonist MIGUEL ZENON (Jan. 27th), pianist ROBERT GLASPER (Feb. 24th) and legendary trumpeter TERENCE BLANCHARD (March 31st).

And as part of the Gordon Theater Jazz Festival, FREE jazz performances and workshops will be held every Saturday in February and March from 1 pm to 4 pm in the Stedman Gallery which is inside the Gordon Theater. See gordontheater.com for a complete lineup.

Individual ticket prices for Miguel Zenon, Robert Glasper and Terence Blanchard range from $12 to $26. Gordon Theater Jazz festival package discount for all three shows is $50 (lower tier) and $40 (upper tier) and includes a FREE subscription to Jazz Times magazine.
