Both Magdalena" and Bad Attitude" are from Reverend Zen's debut CD Angels, Blues & the Crying Moon. The album has brought the band twenty nine song writing and performance awards from the Unisong Contest, the Billboard World Song Contest, the Mid Atlantic Song Contest and the UK's Singer-Songwriter Awards. In the 2006 VH1 Song of the Year Contest, the group received three Runner Up Awards for their songs Magdalena", Don't Try To Tell Me" and The Boston Shakedown", with a Finalist Award going to their song Dangerous Times" (AC/AAA Category).
All songs on Angels, Blues & the Crying Moon were written by Reverend Zen band leader Jack Evans and his co-writer James Gerard.
