Born into a family of singers in Madrid, Spain, Rebeca was immediately immersed in the rich musical language of flamenco, hand in hand with her grandfather, himself a flamenco singer. In Britain, she discovered a deep passion for Jazz, and in New York (where she has been based since 2000) she became enamored with the rhythm and complexity of the Brazilian sounds. This blend became the cornerstone her stylistic foundation.
