On May 27, 2003 Inca Production will release a rare album by Stéphane Grappelli. Grappelli plays Grappelli incorporates two French recording sessions: the previously unreleased Horoscope Session, a suite based around the twelve signs of the Zodiac, composed by Stéphane Grappelli and Perez Pilar, recorded in 1980 in Nice with the following musicians: Stéphane Grappelli (violin), Jack Sewing (double-bass), Gérard Gustin (piano) & Armand Cavallaro (drums) – new recordings from the same Stéphane Grappelli Quartet also known for the sessions recorded and released on Tribute To and To Django.

Part 2 is known as the Emotion Session, recorded in a 1973 – a landmark year for Grappelli – in Paris' Studio des Dames, famed site of recordings by Georges Brassens, Dee Dee Bridgewater and Paul Mauriat… a session recorded during the year that saw Grappelli's career given new life by his legendary comeback performance at the Cambridge Folk Festival, his scores for Bertrand Blier's seminal French films Les Valseuses and Calmo, and saw him charge, unstoppable, through a frenetic year of collaborations and performances with such luminaries as Oscar Petersen, Alan Clare, Jean-Luc Ponty and Earl Hines.
