This week, Cuban Jazz Pianist Elio Villafranca was a featured guest on the show and discussed his musical fusion style, history, performance techniques, upcoming performances and his most recent album The Source In Between. Villafranca was classically trained in percussion and composition at the Instituto Superior de Arte in Havana Cuba. Since his arrival in the U.S. in late 1995, he has been involved in jazz and Latin jazz scenes on both the East and West coasts and is currently based in New York City. Spud Too Tight is a edgy prolific music producer/composer/musician/engineer with 20 years experience in the game. His area of expertise: keyboards, drum programming, guitar, bass, and engineering.
