PHILLY GOES GREEN: WASTE WATCHERS PROGRAM LAUNCHES AT POPPED!; FESTIVAL TO BE HELD SEPTEMBER 23-24 IN PHILADELPHIA'S FDR PARK

POPPED! Music Festival announces the addition of three infectious, new acts to their already impressive music line-up. Philly's own Sun Airway and R&B singer-songwriter Nikki Jean plus, emerging NYC emcee ASAP Rocky have joined the festival's Saturday line-up.

For the first time ever, POPPED! will take over the FDR Park and advocates to go green with the support of the city's new eco volunteer program, Waste Watchers. Waste Watchers is a component of the Mayor's Office-backed by Greenworks Philadelphia—a comprehensive sustainability plan to make Philadelphia the greenest city in America by 2015.

The festival also plans to stay green with waste reduction, water filtration systems, and composting, encouraging festival-goers to use public transportation and requiring food vendors to serve in compostable containers.
