New York, NY: Nu Jazz Entertainment has just announced that founder & CEO Jerald Miller will be leading and moderating a digital media panel entitled: Developing Non-Popular Music & Catalog Content For The 21st Century on February 20, 2013 for the Digital Media Wire (DMW) Music Conference to be held in New York City at the Museum of Jewish Heritage, as part of the two day Digital Music Conference held by Digital Media Wire.

The panel, the among the firsts of its kind in the industry, will bring together a wide-range of industry veterans to discuss the inherent challenges and opportunities in developing non-popular genres (Jazz, Classical, World Music, etc.) in the digital realm and how to re-invigorate catalog and deep catalog content across the digital hemisphere in all genres. “For some time now the digital music conferences have neglected music like Jazz, Classical, and World Music”, says Nu Jazz Entertainment founder, Jerald Miller. “Our panel addresses the inherent opportunities that non-popular music has in a digital age to create relevant and exciting releases of content, while leveraging digital technologies to reach wider audiences with more robust and diverse content.”

Enlisted to bring their insights on the panel are legendary artist manager Gail Boyd, Director of Programs at Future of Music Coalition, Jean Cook; Founder of Cyber-NY and iTunes “LP” development specialist Mike Brown, Founder of the Iridium Jazz Club & Iridium Records, Ron Sturm, and Michael Corcoran, founder of the internet based music promotion firm MusicSUBMIT.com.
