Nimrod Speaks Jazz Bridge in Cheltenham! presents bassist Nimrod Speaks, appearing at the Cheltenham Center for the Arts—439 Ashbourne Road in Cheltenham—on Wednesday, March 6th. Tickets are $10, $5 for students, and are available only at the door. Show time is 7:30. Information: 215-517-8337.

Nimrod Speaks has been playing acoustic and electric bass for more than half of his 30 years. He started playing electric bass in high school, mentored by Ricardo Jackson, and took up the acoustic instrument during his first semester at Kutztown University. He eventually graduated Kutztown with a B.A. in Music Education, and later earned a Masters in Jazz Studies from Rutgers University. Along the way, he studied with giants such as Mike Richmond
