CINCINNATI, OHIO — The Supreme Sounds From Blastin' Sounds is the upcoming release from Cincinnati native Harry Bates. It is due out early in 2012. Also known as Blastin Sounds, Harry is releasing several tracks early — with good reason he explains, “I want to enlighten as many people as I can to the fact that they have the ability to change the world." His tracks are filled with emotive explosions in Blastin' Sounds.

As both a songwriter and performer, Blastin' Sounds explodes with original music that reaches out to a myriad of genres. Whether it is pop, top-40, soul or R&B, Harry's music examines human rights and spirituality—all wrapped within a groove and theme that bows to something greater. “It's all about a message," explains Bates, “my music is art with a message."

Bates is a multi-instrumentalist and a sort of spiritual rebel compared to fellow artists. He is not your typical artist in music, message or meaning. The message in the music is peace ... something that this Cincinnati native doesn't see enough of in his cohorts. Within each track there is an explosion of humanity, a mixture of musical elements which include pulsating percussion, hooky guitar riffs, and layered vocals.

Everything is Coming Our Way is a pop-based examination of the tipping point of the social upheaval and economic problems that face the world. Speaking of revolution and power of people, the composition echoes the fact that the world has turned away from God. Another key track is “The Fall" with an almost subliminal lyrical structure. “Every Knee Must Bend" resonates with Bates' mantra of standing in awe of The Creator.

Blastin' Sounds received honors and recognition for a top 10 song from the IAIRA in 2010. He pushes into 2012 with a renewed confidence in his groove. “I want my music to touch souls and set them on fire." Harry's music is incendiary, intuitive and eclective—what else would you expect from Blastin' Sounds? Look for the release of The Supreme Sounds From Blastin' Sounds in 2012.
