Aretha Franklin: 'No wedding at this time'

The Queen of Soul announced in early January that she had gotten engaged to longtime friend William “Willie" Wilkerson over the holidays. The Grammy-winning singer said they were considering a summer wedding, maybe in Miami Beach.
Today, Franklin, 69, says she's not going to be shopping for that designer wedding dress after all.
“Will and I have decided we were moving a little too fast, and there were a number of things that had not been thought through thoroughly. There will be no wedding at this time. We will not comment on it any further because of the very personal and sensitive nature of it. We appreciate all of the many well wishes from friends."
