Place All About Jazz's Local Calendar Widget on Your Website or Blog

SOURCE: Published: 2012-01-30

Add value to your website or blog with AAJ's local calendar widget.

With All About Jazz's calendar widget, website publishers and bloggers can place either a local calendar or a musician's calendar on their pages. Simply create the code from AAJ's calendar widget form, then copy, paste, save and voilà... instant calendar on your website!

“This is a great way for website publishers and bloggers to promote jazz concerts in their area. All About Jazz is aggregating jazz calendar information and we plan to syndicate it to other sources beyond our website—the calendar widget is an excellent first step," says All About Jazz Founder Michael Ricci. “Our goal is to provide the most comprehensive jazz calendar service on the Internet. Between our submission form, reading other aggregator feeds, and now our batch import service (announced in December 2011) we are heading in the right direction. We just need to raise the awareness of our platform to presenters, venues, festivals and musicians, so they can participate and benefit."

Presenter?

Learn how you can save time by exporting your dates in batches to All About Jazz.

To submit single dates or recurring dates, drag your mouse over “Calendar" on the navigation bar (see above) and select “Submit Show" (direct link here).

To All About Jazz and Beyond!

All dates will appear on All About Jazz's local calendar page, on our venue and festival listing pages, and on our musician profile pages. AAJ currently pushes dates to mobile.allaboutjazz.com and will soon push them to the Jazz Near You websites. We'll also transmit our dates to other music aggregators and social websites.

So, help us help you by using our widget and submitting your dates to All About Jazz.
