Member Account vs Musician Profile

If it has been a while since you last updated your musician profile, you may find the All About Jazz account and musician profile relationship confusing. We're here to help.
Everyone signs up at AAJ (including musicians) and creates an account. Musicians must take an extra step and create their professional (musician) profile. We email you the how-to instructions when you sign up at the website.
Some of the information associated with your AAJ account is similar to your professional profile and we apologize for the redundancy of effort, but if time is a consideration, please focus on completing your musician profile.
To find your musician profile, go to the All About Jazz home page, drag your mouse over “People" then select “Musicians." From the musician center, search on your name, then click it from the results. If you are logged in, you will see an “Edit" link to the right of your name. Click it to update your profile. You can also find your musician profile from your AAJ account page by dragging your mouse over your name in the top left corner of any page and selecting “Your Profile"—your musician profile link will appear on the right inside the “Edit Musicians" box.
if you can't remember your password, reset it. And if it's been a while since you logged into AAJ, check to see if you have an All About Jazz cookie and delete it prior to logging in. You can typically find your cookies from your browser's “Preferences" window under the “Privacy" section.
More Tips and Information:
If you have a musician profile, your shortcut URL is typically http://www.allaboutjazz/[yourname] (e.g. http://www.allaboutjazz.com/tednash). You can use this when referencing your location at All About Jazz.
All About Jazz musician profiles are a little like Wikipedia profiles in that more than one person can update your profile. So you can assign access to your publicist, your spouse, a trusted friend, your record label, etc.
