Keyboardist Bill Cornish will be releasing his new solo album entitled Stories Without Words. The album is expected to be available early December, 2011.
Like his previous solo albums, Stories shifts seamlessly between his trademark collection of influences including world fusion, jazz, new age, orchestral and funk. Musical guests this time out include trumpet master Eric Bolvin, Warren Dale on saxophones and clarinets, as well as Joanne Campbell and Claire Fitch of the Dublin Symphony Orchestra violin and cello respectively.
This album is sure to appeal to fans of classic Windham Hill artists, jazz, new age and contemporary world fusion.
The solo piano track Fragile" from a previous Cornish's solo album Sojourn was nominated in 2009 for the Just Plain Folks award for Best New Age Song.
