This past summer, GRAMMY-nominated arranger, trombonist and vocalist Pete McGuinness was selected to be the new Professor of Jazz Arranging at William Paterson University in Wayne, NJ. The William Paterson jazz studies program has been one of the strongest in the New York/New Jersey area for many years and is currently lead by legendary pianist and composer Mulgrew Miller and respected saxophonist David Dempsey.

McGuinness will be the featured artist with the William Paterson Jazz Ensemble for the university's “Jazz Room" series on Sunday November 6 at 3pm on the campus at the Shea Arts Center.
