Pianist Armen Nalbandian joins Dave Chappelle on stage for Impromptu Performance at Yoshi's
In an impromptu moment during comedian Dave Chappelle's first set at Yoshi's Jazz Club & Restaurant on Sunday August 14th, pianist/composer Armen Nalbandian joined Dave Chappelle on stage for the final 45 minutes of his set. Nalbandian improvised an accompaniment to Chappelle's routine, which resulted in Nalbandian performing notable hip hop songs with Chappelle both rapping and singing along. Chappelle's surprise one-night performance extended into multiple performances at both bay-area Yoshi's location through Tuesday night.
