The Bayfront Blues Festival is one of the largest annual outdoor music events in the upper Midwest. Each year nearly 20,000 fans come to Duluth's Bayfront Festival Park to listen to the who's who of the blues and blues/rock world. Downtown Duluth, Minnesota is where Bayfront Park is situated right on the beautiful harbor of the citites of Duluth and Superior on the shores of Lake Superior. The park is within walking distance to Duluth's scenic downtown and canal park with some of the best resturants and hotels in the area.
For two decades the Bayfront Blues Festival has presented the best national and regional blues and blues/rock acts. This year is no different, the Festival offers something for everyone. In addition to Vicci Martinez from NBC's The Voice, the Festival will headlining Big Head Blues Club featuring Big Head Todd & the Monsters, and Tommy Castro. These headliners are just three of the 31 musical acts that will be performing this year. Come and see the headliners, enjoy your favorites, and your new favorites.
Tickets are available online through our website, www.bayfrontblues.com, or all Electric Fetus locations. Three-day tickets are available in advance for $95.00 and single day for $40.00. Single day tickets will also be available at the gate during the festival. All tickets are sold as general admission and the event is presented rain or shine.
The music will start at 11:30 am and end at 10:30 pm on Friday, Aug. 12 and Saturday, Aug. 13. Sunday the Festival offers a tribute to gospel blues at 11:00 am and ends with Vicci Martinez from NBC's summer hit, The Voice at 5:45 pm. If you still need more music, the cities of Duluth and Superior's nightclubs will have your festival favorites booked to keep you rock'n till the wee hours of the morning.
