Hal Leonard has produced a lovely new personality folio featuring the music of Blossom Dearie. From her years at Verve in the 50s, Fontana in London in the 60s through the most important songs on Blossom's own label, Daffodil Records, this folio is definitive.

A new biography starts out the songbook and the following songs are included: Bring All Your Love Along, Bye-Bye Country Boy, Deed I Do, I Like You, You're Nice, I Won't Dance, I'm Shadowing You, Inside A Silent Tear, It Might As Well Be Spring, Long Daddy Green,(There Ought To Be A) Moonlight Saving Time, Once Upon A Summertime, Peel Me A Grape, Sweet Georgie Fame, Touch The Hand Of Love, and Winchester In Apple Blossom Time.

This songbook is a hit and is selling strongly. You can find it, along with many of Blossom's treasured recordings at her official website: BlossomDearie.com. Blossom's recordings on Daffodil Records are popular with fans of vocalists, jazz piano, and she was described at a jazz minimalist and world-weary chanteuse. New CDs to be releases from the archives are on the horizon.
