New CD "Bridges" from Kris Tiner & Mike Baggetta

Published: 2011-06-10
Mike Baggetta "Radiant... there's an open, intensely emotional quality to the duo's playing... spare, haunting, with hints of modernist avant-garde gestures." —Andy Hamilton, The Wire (UK)

“Excellent... trumpeter Kris Tiner and guitarist Mike Baggetta explore abstract yet jazz-derived realms of expansive lyricism and liquid melody." —Time Out New York

TIN/BAG, the duo of Trumpeter Kris Tiner and Guitarist Mike Baggetta, is excited to let you know about our new CD 'Bridges' on the MabnotesMusic label. This album has been a while in the making and we're really proud of the music on this. It captures the musical essence of this duo better than any to date. 'Bridges' was recorded while on tour in January 2010 at Systems Two in Brooklyn and was made possible, in part, through a grant from the American Composers Forum.

You can stream all of the tracks for your listening pleasure and order your copy of the CD, Physical and Digital, through Bandcamp.

Visit mikebaggetta.com for TIN/BAG's upcoming tour dates on the East and West Coast.
