Please join us for an evening with Chicago native Rob Mazurek, best known for his collaborations with Gastr del Sol, Isotope 217, Stereolab, Tortoise and Sam Prekop, as well as founding member of the Chicago Underground Duo/Trio/Quartet (Thrill Jockey). Featuring reknowned Brazilian percussionist Mauricio Takara, SP Underground was spawned from the sulpher skies of Sao Paulo, where phantom carnival songs meet laptop beat crushing and spiraling free improvisation. Mandarin Movie features guitaris Alan Licht, best known for his collaborations with Christian Marclay, members of Sonic Youth, and Jim O'Rourke. THIS EVENT IS NOT TO BE MISSED!
