Renowned Jazz pianist Lenore Raphael will begin a tour in honor of Jazz Appreciation Month with a concert at the Halle Cultural Arts Center in Apex, North Carolina with an evening of popular and more obscure Duke Ellington compositions. Accompanied by bassist Rick Eckberg and drummer Peter Ingram, this trio sold out their last performance at this venue so early ticket purchase is suggested on etix.com or at the theater box office. She continues the tour with a concert at Cottonwood Home concerts in Graham, North Carolina and then heads to Florida for a series of concerts beginning with the Atlantic Music Center in Melbourne on Saturday, April 9th, with bassist Ron Pirtle, then does a solo concert at the Steinway Gallery in Coral Gables on April 13th. She then heads to Bonita Springs for a solo concert for the Steinway Society of Naples on April 14th, and then back to Ft. Lauderdale for a concert for the South Florida Jazz Summit on the 15th.

There will be a convention of the South Florida Jazz Summit at Artserve on April 15th-16th and Lenore ends the tour with being a panel member for that on “The Business of Jazz."
