Larry Goldings There will be a reunion of one of the finest organ jazz trios to emerge in the past 20 years at Vitellos Jazz & Supper Club Friday & Saturday February 18th & 19th 2011. The original “Larry Goldings Trio" will do two nights of concerts Friday and Saturday nights at 8pm & 10pm and a morning Study Group and lunch hang on February 18, 2011. We're talking about that heavyweight of the Hammond B-3, Larry Goldings, along with scintillating guitarist Peter Bernstein

In addition to the two nights of LA Exclusive concerts, on Friday February 18, 2011 from 10a.m-noon Larry Goldings/Bernstein/Stewart TRIO Study Group Lunch gathering will take place in the intimate performance room at Vitellos Jazz and Supper Clun at 4349 Tujunga Ave, Studio City, CA 91067.

Larry Goldings, Peter Bernstein and Bill Stewart and have been performing and recording as an organ trio for over twenty years. During the clinic on they will discuss a range of topics unique to our experience as a group, such as group interplay, interpreting standards, and finding a group sound. We will welcome any specific questions from the audience. Larry Goldings says “I think teaching by example is often as effective (if not more effective) than talking, so we Will, of course, play in an effort to demonstrate the topics that come up." $50 (includes Study Group, Buffet lunch, tax , tip ).
