Macon, GA—When the Atlanta semi-pro football team 'Atlanta Chiefs' needed a theme for their outstanding new team, they turned to .Macon music legend and composer Joey Stuckey. An award-winning blind guitarist, songwriter, singer, composer and producer, Joey Stuckey is also a noted radio and TV personality, music columnist, inspirational speaker, educator and sound engineer. Says Joyce Lopez, VP of Communications and Public Relations, “We could not be more excited to have legendary Joey Stuckey compose and arrange the theme for the Atlanta Chiefs! Moments like this come once in a lifetime or never, and we are blessed to have been given this special gift." “I just love sports," says Joey, “though as a blind person, I can't really play them. However, to be part of a sports team's adventure as they strive for excellence is a real joy!"

With a guitar style is reminiscent of rocker Jeff Beck and a jazzier Wes Montgomery, and vocal influences that range from Mel Torme to Gregg Allman, Joey Stuckey has also worked with the likes of Hughie Thomasson (from Lynyrd Skynard and the Outlaws), David Ragsdale (from Kansas and The Smashing Pumpkins), Randall Bramblett (from Traffic, Steve Winwood Band and Gregg Allman Band), Carol King and Ike Turner to name a few. After three critically acclaimed rock releases ('Take A Walk In The Shadows,' 'Ironies, Pain and the Light That Guides,' 'So Far'), in late 2009 Joey released a new jazz and blues tinged EP called 'Ocean Side' which has been well-received.

Joey Stuckey is also excited to announce his latest endorsement with Toontrack Music, makers of outstanding music software. Among their list of superb products are such titles as Ezmix, Superior Drummer®2.0, Drumtracker® and many more. For more information visit toontrack.com.
