WDNA 88.9 FM Fine Arts Concert series celebrates National Hispanic Heritage Month with live Latin jazz this Saturday, September 25 featuring renowned flutist, saxophonist and Bata drummer Bobby Ramirez and his group Pan con Bistec together with a vibrant and surreal exhibition by Cuban visual artist Enrique Sendra.

The works of the talented Cuban-born visual artist, who at age eighteen unveiled his first solo exhibition at the Amelia Pélaez Gallery in Havana, Cuba, has been shown at Miami's Vincent Gallery and the Boswell Mouret Fine Art Gallery in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Promised the Miami based 'Serious Jazz' radio, “This [will not be] your ordinary “steak sandwich," but rather a juicy morsel of traditional jazz with spicy Latin flavor that will have you wanting for more." The Bobby Ramirez group's own recipe is a concoction of jazz standards, originals and Afro-Cuban ingredients that will be served to patrons on a delicious platter. Other Latin jazz chef cooking at the Coral Way, Miami radio include South Florida favorite Nicky Orta on bass, drummer Ivan Velasques, and Antulio Mora on piano.

The JamaicaOffbeat blogger will be in Miami for the 88.9FM Fine Arts Concert Series event that brings art and jazz lovers together under one roof in a showcase of the very best of both worlds. National Hispanic Heritage Month begins mid September.
