Joao Gilberto Concert at Carnegie Hall Canceled

Joao Gilberto Because of international travel restrictions, the Joao Gilberto concert at Carnegie Hall on Tuesday night as part of the CareFusion Jazz Festival has been canceled.

George Wein, the producer of the festival, said in a statement:

I am heartbroken over this unfortunate situation. Joao Gilberto is one of the most important musical artists of our generation, and it has always been a privilege to present him at Carnegie Hall.

Tickets will be refunded where they were purchased.
