"People Want The Same Thangs" is the second release from Los Angeles-based Chocolate Music. Produced by Stevie “Roofa G" Martin and Linus “Limeybean" Bernal collectively known as The DO, “People Want The Same Thangs" is a mixture of Funk,R&B and laid back Jazz vibes, with a hint of the Blues infused with some Hip - Hop flava and production. Featuring ol' school dancefloor house party jams, baby making music and thought provoking smooth flavors for your ride played by real musicians, “People Want The Same Thangs" is music to uplift your soul and set off the after party.

The CD kicks off with the amazing title track which will make you dance with its insistent soulful funky groove and have you thinking deeply with its socially conscious lyrics. Other highlights include: “Angel" tailormade for romantic lovers in the vein of late 70s slow funk jams, “The Hollywood Bump" which is sure to challenge Funkadelic's “One Nation Under A Groove" and Prince's “Housequake" as a modern-day funk national anthem, and “It's Just 4 Fun" guarantees the party ends on a high note with its irresistible beat and rubbery bassline.
