Make the Dream a Reality with Sunna Gunnlaugs

Published: 2010-05-27
Sunna Gunnlaugs Icelandic pianist Sunna Gunnlaugs will be releasing a new CD on June 17th and with the help of Kickstarter.com she's hoping you will get involved. The CD is called 'The Dream' and features the fine talents of Loren Stillman, Eivind Opsvik and Scott McLemore. Everything is done except the manufacturing and promotion of the CD, and that's where you can help.

'The Dream' has it's own page on Kickstarter.com where you can go become a 'backer' and choose from a wide variety of levels of participation and rewards. For instance, for those who cherish always being first, one could receive an advance copy of the CD and be the first on your block to own 'The Dream.' Or if you like making requests, commission Sunna to cover any tune you like (and see her play it on YouTube). For the more technically savvy, get an iPod Nano filled with her entire discography as a leader. Or if you would like to meet and hear Sunna up close and personal, you can host a Sunna Gunnlaugs house concert. For complete details see the Kickstarter page.

However, this is a limited time offer. In a nutshell, the way this all works is that we have until June 10 (not long!) to reach the goal of $2,500. If the goal is not reached, 'The Dream' will not receive ANY funding, and (gasp) no one will receive any rewards! It would be as if nothing ever happened. But we won't let that happen will we? Please spread the word and pass this along to anyone who might like to support the endeavors of this artist and have a direct impact on the life and career of Sunna Gunnlaugs.
