The Miles Davis Movie

SOURCE: Published: 2010-05-02

A brief update from MTV

Says star/director/co-writer Don Cheadle: “The story is really not... a biopic per se. It's not attempting to be any cradle-to-grave depiction of [Miles'] life. It's more my take, as an artist, on what his music has meant. With wall-to-wall truth but not really much concerned about facts."

It's “not really much concerned about facts"?

I understand dramatic license, and, of course there may be a need to be creative when it comes to dialogue. But as unusual a life as Miles lived, you'd think the facts of that life would be compelling enough to support a great film script.
