CAMDEN, SC - April 16, 2010 - Brainchild of veteran RCA Victor artist Joe Taylor, The Wicked Felinas have been burning up venues on the East Coast in preparation for the release of their debut album Heart Like A Dying Sun on Moonwatcher Records. The Wicked Felinas will headline the Friday night performance of JAZZ AT THE CENTER in historic Camden, SC.

The Manhattan-meets-Carolina power trio, formed by guitarist Joe Taylor (hailed as “a virtuoso" by Jazz Times Magazine," and “Smooth and hypnotic" by Gannett) following a wave of acclaimed instrumental releases, including his newest top-charting CD Accidental Sugar, is propelled by bassist Jim Blakeslee, formerly of the fabulous Killer Whales, and veteran Southern Rock drummer Bryan Compton of Billy “Crash" Craddock and Kip Anderson.

The Felinas' live show consists of tunes from Joe's current album, Accidental Sugar (presently on the Top-40 Smooth-Jazz radio charts), as well as tunes from their upcoming release, Heart Like A Dying Sun on Moonwatcher Music.

Now, only months before the anticipated release of their debut album, The Wicked Felinas will be unrolling their dynamic sound to a crowd of onlookers at the JAZZ AT THE CENTER Festival. The Jazz Festival, now in its 4th year, draws thousands of music lovers, from the Georgia low country to the Carolina upstate, for a two-day celebration of vibrant jazz and funky sound. Now, with The Wicked Felinas joining the likes of The Frank Vignola Trio, The Jazz Guitar Summit, Jerry Sims & Kristi Hood, and Voulez Blue on stage, JAZZ AT THE CENTER promises to be a vivacious affair!
