All About Jazz Calendar Accessible from Every Page
All About Jazz members can now view a local calendar of events on every AAJ page. The calendar appears below the fold in the same section as the featured photos and streaming media boxes (scroll down this page to view).
If you're not signed in or you are unregistered, the calendar will default to NYC metro dates. Once logged in, your calendar will refresh with local dates.
Musicians, venues, presenters and festivals can submit dates right from the calendar box and readers can view more local dates by clicking the “More Jazz Near You" link.
The calendar is restricted to U.S. dates only, but an international friendly version is on the way.
AAJ is also working on a new and improved version of the calendar which will include a widget.
