The combination of skills from these artists covers a wide range from Jazz, Brazilian, Latin, Cuban, African, World, Contemporary and Classical music genres. Danny Green's current CD, With You In Mind, has been called a brilliant musical statement" and was recently awarded Best Jazz Album of the Year during the San Diego Music Awards. Green has been noted as one of the new young jazz lions" including a quote from a recent review which said," he will no doubt become one of the more important musicians and names in jazz, perhaps becoming this generation's equivalent of Herbie Hancock, McCoy Tyner, and Dave Brubeck."
Ami Molinelli's release Viajando: Choro e Jazz has not only received recognition in the United States but also throughout Brazil. Ami's other recordings and performances are with Jovino Santos Neto, Michael Spiro, John Santos, Teka, Hamilton de Hollanda, Kleber Jorge, Rob Kyle, Danny Grisset, Keith Terry, John Heard, the NBC Series Studio 60" house band and the Los Angeles Philharmonic (where she works both as a teaching-artist of percussion and in curriculum development).
Besides mandolin, Eva Scow is equally as competent on violin and has performed and/or recorded with David Grisman, Mike Marshall, Anthony Wilson, Mark Summer (Turtle Island String Quartet) and was invited to participate in a workshop and performance at Carnegie Hall with musicians Edgar Meyer, Bela Fleck, Jerry Douglas, and Mike Marshall. Her latest release is titled, Sharon By The Sea.
