Adam Meckler Releases Debut Album
After an unexpected end to his father's life, Meckler began making plans to record an album in his memory.
Teaming up with some of the Twin Cities' most prominent small group jazz musicians, Meckler brings us a mix of rock infused modern jazz music influenced by a wide range of artists including Dave Douglas and Happy Apple.
The album tells the sad story of Meckler's father's untimely passing and the emotions that so vividly followed. At times the music is chaotic, free, at other times it is heartwarming.
