Marcus Goldhaber NEW YORK, NY – On Wednesday, July 29th, 2009, Singer/Songwriter Marcus Goldhaber will return to The Kitano, following up his sold out performance at the coveted jazz venue back in 2008, with two sets: 8pm and 10pm (no cover).

This engagement comes on the heels of an amazing response to Marcus’ second album, “Take Me Anywhere,” which has since earned glowing reviews in All About Jazz, Jazz Improv, Jazz Times, Jazz Weekly, eJazzNews, Jazziz, and a 4 out of 4 Star review in People Magazine.

After a two month residency at The Night Hotel in Times Square, Marcus is excited to be performing once again at The Kitano, a venue known for its top shelf jazz. “It will be a real treat to be back at The Kitano…it has a charm like no other and the intimacy of the room allows for a special connection with the audience.”

The Kitano is located in the mezzanine level of the Kitano Hotel, overlooking Park Avenue. This high-class establishment offers up a selection of canaps accompanied by libations that include rare malt whiskeys as well as the finest champagne and sake.

At the show, Marcus will be joined by The Jon Davis Trio, featuring Ugonna Okegwa (bass) and Willard Dyson (drums).

The Kitano (www.Kitano.com) is located at 66 Park Avenue (at 38th Street). For reservations, contact 212.885.7119 or jazz@Kitano.com.
