Early this year we staged the first Jazz Festival on the Gold Coast of Australia for a long time. Everyone told us how much they loved it. In 2005 we will be bigger, brighter, better and international.

The music will be a great mix of Traditional, Main Stream and Swing, with a sprinkle of the Blues.

Look forward to, and book for, names and the bands you know. The Barnards, Simon Stribling's East Coast Jazz Convention, Jazz Factory, Up the River Band and much, much more. Two and a half days of the best musicians and some fabulous international attractions.

All this at the Gold Coast Arts Centre, a great air-conditioned venue, with its own bars, cafes and outdoor sip and sup areas. The weather will be warm and your welcome even warmer. And importantly, all the music, and you, under the same roof.

There is a wide range of accommodation and restaurants from inexpensive to deluxe on the Coast and we expect to arrange a good discount deal, as the date for the Festival gets closer.

You should be part of it all, from the Street Parade to the last few bars of the closing sets. And the Jazz Breakfast on the Saturday and the Jazz Gospel Service on the Sunday.

There really will be great music right through the Festival in the Gold Coast Arts Centre this Jazzin' Weekend. You'll see old friends and make some new ones in the company of some world jazz stars. We look forward to seeing you here. It will be good fun and fabulous music.
