The victim in a deadly hit-and-run Thursday in Philadelphia has been identified.

Authorities say Dominic Weston-Wilkerson, 18, of Wingohocking Street rode his bike to his aunt's house to be with other relatives. Because of the heavy rain, police say, he decided to take a bus home. He had just gotten off the bus at around 2:00 a.m. and was walking the four blocks home when he was struck on Roosevelt Boulevard and 9th Street.

Weston-Wilkerson would have turned 19 years old on Sunday, Mother's Day. Domic's father is Calvin Weston, a well known jazz drummer in the area.

Friday afternoon, police recovered a green minivan that may have been the vehicle that hit the teen.It was found at Oakmont and Leon Streets in Northeast Philadelphia. Its windshield is shattered, and there's major passenger side damage. The van is now at the police impound lot in Hunting Park.

The driver in the incident has not been located.
