"This is Our Music" is Back! Sex Mob, Planet Dream, and Glassband on April 10 in NYC

This Friday, April 10 at the Glasslands Gallery in Brooklyn, guitarist Brad Farberman's This Is Our Music series returns for its ninth installment, a triple bill featuring Glassband, Planet Dream and Sex Mob. The show kicks off at 7PM. There is a $5 cover.

This Is Our Music was born on March 5, 2008 at the old Galapagos space (now Public Assembly) in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, and has since presented music at The Lucky Cat, Club Europa, and the Clemente Soto Velez Cultural Center in Manhattan. The series has featured Burnt Sugar, Sabir Mateen’s Omni-Sound, Jessica Lurie’s Krampus, Club d’Elf, Jim Campilongo Electric Trio, Matt Lavelle’s Tenor Tree, Matthew Silberman Group, Michael Blake Trio, Bobby Previte/Briggan Krauss Duo, James Carney Group, The Inbetweens, Mario Pavone Quintet, Sauce, Ben Syversen Trio, Giacomo Merega/Daniel Levin/Marco Cappelli, Steve Swell Trio, Mahout Ensemble, Marco Cappelli/Noah Kaplan Duo, Brad Farberman’s Expected Draw, and Knucklebean. These groups have drawn in players like Vernon Reid, Warren Smith, Daniel Carter, Mat Maneri, Brahim Fribgane, Brad Jones, Ben Allison, Ches Smith, Mike Gamble and Reuben Radding for their This Is Our Music performances.
