Pianist and Composer Andrew Hill is receiving the 2003 JAZZPAR award, the world's largest international and annual jazz award. The JAZZPAR Prize has been presented since 1990 and JAZZPAR has become an event of proven significance in the international jazz community, from time to time being mentioned as The Oscar or The Nobel Prize of Jazz.
