Ty Showers - 5 for 5
Today, Ty Showers has released his 5th album in as many months on iTunes, Amazon.com, eMusic and Rhapsody. This compilation sounds and feels quite different from his previous 4 releases. These new tracks explore additional genres and musical instruments.
His music has become even more accessible through the launch of tyshowers.com which is complete with bio, discography, and full streaming of past and future releases (works in progress that may change daily or weekly). On Ty's website you will hear full symphonies, downtempo, chill, r&b, hip-hop, electronic, jazz, new age, ambient, jazz fusion and rock.
Also, he blogs about his self-imposed challenge to release an album a month - conveying what he's learning about recording, music distribution, marketing and other music-related experiences.
November was a good public relations month for Ty: he was a featured artist on All About Jazz, blogged about on “Artist of the Day" and interviewed by Grace Cabezas on 88.9 FM Serious Jazz in Miami in between playing his music. The interview can be heard on his website.
