Atlanta, GA - Presence is a blessing and is how I will sum up my excitement about where I am today as we turn the corner on this musical journey. This is how Hope Deans, an up and coming jazz vocalist, describes her new CD.

Presence is a compilation of five tracks of Hope's favorite holiday standards including “What the World Needs Now" which she performs with the Georgia Youth Choir.

Ms Deans will officially launch her first CD Presence live via the internet broadcast program BlogTalk Radio on Saturday November 22, from 2:00pm - 4:00pm. Listeners and fans of Hope are requested to register at www.blogtalkradio.com/hopedeans to participate during this live interactive global event. Listeners can call in and/or chat live with Hope online.

Joining Hope during this eventful day will be the members of the Georgia Youth Choir and its Executive Director, Alyssa Gangarosa Coble.

Hosting this event is TrinaJaye of The Industry.

Presence can be purchased online starting November 22 through her website hopedeans.com

Hope Deans brings a style that is sultry, classy, yet jazzy which makes her an exciting performer to watch on stage. Originally from California, Hope started performing with different musicians and pianists throughout Los Angeles and the Orange County area by sitting in on jam sessions when possible. She had the opportunity to perform at Steamers Jazz Club and Caf with Debbie Ebert and Johnny Blast and at the award winning restaurant The Sky Room in Long Beach. She has even had the pleasure, ironically, of singing a song accompanied by the master pianist for Ms. Nancy Wilson, Mr. Llew Matthews. She was once told by her jazz vocal coach to be more laid back like Ms. “Fancy" Nancy Wilson, but Hope is more of a sassy kind of performer who says she needs to “move and groove when singing 'cause the body just wants to dance!"

Hope founded her first band, Doubletake, and soon became a crowd favorite headlining in many clubs and venues. Her musical resume included memorable performances aboard the Queen Mary, The LegendaryBlue Guitar in Palm Springs and as a guest performer at the Mrs. California International Pageant.

Currently residing in Atlanta, Hope has become a hot new artist on the scene. She has performed a Christmas concert, “Hope for the Holidays," which was a fundraiser for PAPY (Performing Arts Program for Youth) under the direction of Hilda Willis of Living Your Art. She has also had the pleasure of performing a one-woman concert honoring the ladies of jazz with a tribute to Billie Holiday and Cassandra Wilson. In addition, she has performed at Encore and The Grape at Inman Park.

Hope's personal jazz improvisational style is grounded in the tradition of legendary greats like Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Etta James, B.B. King, John Coltrane, Miles Davis, and later Roberta Flack, Phyllis Hyman, Janis Joplin and Natalie Cole. It is what Hope has always envisioned doing and wanting - to be singing seriously and professionally.

You can catch Hope Deans performing LIVE with the Cougar Chorale of the Kemp Elementary School during the “Taste of Lovinggood Cultural Arts Festival" at Lovinggood Middle School, 3325 Luther Ward Road, Powder Springs, GA on Friday, December 5, at 6:00 pm.
