Marian University and Fond du Lac Jazz Festival Inc. have formed a new partnership that promises to bring more live jazz to the community.
The Fond du Lac Jazz Festival, which for nearly 25 years has been bringing big-name jazz concerts to Fond du Lac, will be hosted as a fall event by Marian.
Marian, which this fall launched its new jazz studies program, will present a jazz concert on November 21-22 on the campus to showcase student jazz talent and to spotlight nationally known jazz saxophonist David “Fathead" Newman.
