Vibist Ed Saindon at the Berklee Percussion Festival

Ed Saindon will be teaching at the Berklee Percussion Festival in Boston, Massachusetts from June 23rd to the 27th. The curriculum will include clinics, concerts, classes and ensembles for mallet players, drummers and percussionists. As part of Percussion Week, Saindon will be performing music from his latest recording Depth of Emotion along with Matt Marvuglio-flute, Bruno Raberg-bass, and Mark Walker-drums on Tuesday, June 24th on the Berklee campus in the David Friend Recital Hall from 7-8.

Video clips of a recent concert featuring Saindon performing music from Depth of Emotion has been added to YouTube. The concert took place at the Berklee Performance Center in Boston on April 2, 2008 as part of Percussion Week at the college. Clips include The Healing, The Last Goodbye and Sao Paulo. Band personnel includes: Rick Dimuzio - soprano sax, Mark Walker - drums, David Clark - bass and Ed Saindon - vibes/piano.

Depth of Emotion featuring Dave Liebman and Ed Saindon will be playing at the University of New Hampshire in Durham, NH on February, 2nd, 2009 starting at 8. The band personnel will be: Dave Liebman - soprano, Ed Saindon - vibes, marimba, piano, Mark Walker - drums and David Clark - bass. Their latest recording Depth of Emotion has received strong airplay in the U.S. and abroad as well as garnering positive reviews from the major jazz trade magazines.
