Born in Caracas - Venezuela ( February 19th - 1971), Luis Perdomo started on piano at age 6. His professional career began at age 12, performing on radio and TV as well as clubs in Caracas. From 1989 to 1992 he was the house pianist at the “Juan Sebastian Bar" Caracas' most famous Jazz Club.

He came to NY in 1993 on a scholarship to the Manhattan School of Music, where he studied with Harold Danko and classical pianist Martha Pestalozzi. He obtained his Masters degree from Queens College where Luis was a private student of the legendary Sir Roland Hanna.
