This evening will be showcasing an amazing and diverse array of local artists. The evening features primarily original compositions..

Edo Castro: Edo plays multi-stringed basses including fretless. He has mastered a performance looping process that allows him to melodically solo over his own bass “pads". The result is a wondrous formation of textures and he will be performing several of his compositions in addition to playing with the other featured artists. It has brought another level to contemporary smooth jazz.

Blue: Blue is an Apache Songcatcher. He plays an ancient instrument called a Wind Flute. These are unique instruments that have been played in Blue's family for over 1000 years. He and Edo will open the main portion of the show with a song entitled: Gift of Blue

Ray Cooper: Ray has written a composition especially for this event and will feature most of the musicians gathered for the evening. Ray will be playing the grand piano and synth. The song will also be accompanied by visuals created by Ray and a wonderful visual artist, Karmen Rose.

Ian Dogole: His arsenal of global percussion instruments includes: udu, cajon, hang, talking drums, mbiras, dumbek, balafon, dholak, cymbals and many more. Ian will be accompanying many of the artists throughout the evening and will be soloing on a mysterious instrument called the Hang (pronounced Hung) and more. It looks a bit like a flying saucer but sounds like steel drums - played with the hands. It is an amazing sound!

Deborah Winters: Many of you know this lovely singer/songwriter. Deborah will be playing some of her original compositions including I Am the I Am and Venice. She will also be singing on various numbers throughout the evening including a Miles Davis tune called: Blue in Green with Edo and Ian.

Lester Levy: Lester brings his amazing passion for acoustic guitar music to the stage. He is returning to his musical roots after many years and we're glad he is!

Lisa Star: Lisa will be joined by everyone to play my composition, Shining Bright. She will also be singing throughout the evening. Head of label Passion Star Records as well as Passion Star Publishing ASCAP and Lisa Star Publishing BMI.

Paget Campbell: Paget joins us from Seattle WA. Paget is an electric guitarist I met in high school and I've been following his musical career ever since. Paget has played guitar with many cover bands in the Seattle area over the years, including Coed, Phoenix, and Restless. Paget's influences include Pink Floyd, Santana, Steve Lukather, and the Dan Reed Network. Paget is lead guitarist for Pop Culture, a Seattle dance band. However, I know that this guitarist has artistry that takes him beyond the dance floor. We're happy that he could come down from Seattle and join us on a few tunes for this evening.

Jonathan Moe: Jonathan is a wonderful drummer & percussionist and we're glad that he can join us. He's worked with us on many projects including a great session with Edo and bassist David Friesen.

Karys Rhea, worked with Ray Cooper/CoStar Studios to produce a demo with three songs she had written. We were all impressed with this young talent and her fresh sound. She plays guitar and I will accompany her with some background vocals.
