Experience Gemini Soul's new CD Liquid Soul" live at the San Jose Juneteenth Festival and help support independent jazz. Gemini Soul's concerts aren't your typical jazz shows. Ajamu's bass playing is in the style of Stanley Clarke, Jimi Hendrix, and Me'Shell Ndegeocello...a sight to be seen. Jon O'Bergh's keyboard stylings captures the elements of 70's funk, reminiscent of Herbie Hancock. Andrew Foster's percussion adds a satin groove, keeping the music smooth and sexy. While Alex Marks, the newest member in the band, drum stylings will add that touch of funk to enhance Gemini Soul's Cyber Jazz experience.
Ajamu Akinyele states My overall goal is to introduce my music to all generations, and to all ethnic backgrounds in support of jazz of all genres; while trying to unite us as a people of one nation under a groove through cyber jazz."
