AAJ Musician Profile Editors Wanted!
Part MySpace, part Wikipedia, part LinkedIn... all Jazz!
All About Jazz is looking for volunteer editors to create and maintain profile pages at musicians.allaboutjazz.com.
To become a profile editor, create a MY AAJ account. Once registered, go to the profile you want to edit (search here) and click the “Become a [Artist Name] profile editor" link--we'll then assign you to the profile. To create a new profile from scratch, click the “Submit Profile" link at the Musician Center.
The profiles should look professional and complete (example). Enter as much information as you can find: name, web address, email address, latest release information (or last reissue or landmark recording), bio, bio image, YouTube tag, gear, teaching information, awards and discography.
You can edit and maintain as many profiles as you like and several people can collaborate on a single profile.
