Lady Colorado Jazz artist has attracted top Latin legends to innovative recording project

Boulder, Colorado: Janine Santana’s Next Latin Jazz Project has the attention of many of the best composers and musicians in the genre. With legendary artists David Amram (composer, author and multi instrumentalist), Pianist/producer Ricky Gonzalez (Mark Anthony, Jennifer Lopez and many salsa legends),Ray Vega (Machito, Tito Puente)Jose Madera (Tito Puente and current leader of the Mambo Legends Orchestra), Luques Curtis ( bassist for Eddie Palmieri ), Bobby Porcelli (Tito Puente and a reknown sax soloist), Richie Cole (of Alto Madness Fame) to name a few, conga player and radio host Santana is raising $21,720.00 via crowdfunding, and is looking for help taking care of the costs of engineering, mastering, airfare, recording and production.

“I have an unbelievable amount of talent assembled. Grammy winners and legends who are willing to take a chance on a less-than-affluent single mom who has to make music. We’ve been working on this for a few years. I had a “series of unfortunate events” that tried to knock me out, but as my guys will tell you, I am pretty tough to push back...too much fire in me, I guess! Crowdfunding is how we can bring this amazing music to fruition.”

Crowdfunding gives back for financial support. As an artist in many genres, rewards beyond the music include Haiku poems tailored to the giver, copies of the recording or Santana’s previous recording work, fine art, concerts, services providing gourmet meals, photography services and many other jazzy delights.
