“Given the importance of music education worldwide, the dedication of The Recording Academy® in creating GRAMMY U is paramount in inspiring young music minds. I feel honored to be hosting an event at my home that will highlight the power of a commitment to arts education when done with the passion and energy GRAMMY U has exhibited," said Blanchard. “Growing up in New Orleans, I had the great fortune of learning from some incredible music teachers. They set me on the path toward having a great musical career. This reflection inspires me to be a part of GRAMMY U whose work is committed to making surethat other students have this same opportunity. While music lovers from allover the world gather in my hometown for one of the greatest festivals, I thought that it was essential that we connect the need for music education and promote it as the foundation for many of the great artists seen and enjoyed on those Jazz Fest stages."
