Walter Bell & the L.J.U. Concert & Silent Auction to benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society

Jazz Flutist, Walter Bell, and the L. J. U. will perform a concert of warm and seductive Bossa Nova, Latin Jazz and straight-ahead jazz and selections from Mr. Bell's newly-released 10th CD, The Walter Bell Companion, Vol. 2 and other CDs on Saturday, September 9, 2006. The concert and silent auction will benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. The silent auction will be held from 6 until 8 pm and the concert will begin at 8 pm.

Classical and Flamenco guitarist , David Cohen, will perform during the silent auction when light complimentary refreshments will be served. For the silent auction, credit cards will be accepted. The performer for the concert, Walter Bell, is a virtuoso who has mastered bass and alto flute and piccolo. Maureen Malloy, radio personality from WRTI 90.1 FM, will host this special event. At The Stagecrafters Theater, 8130 Germantown Ave., Philadelphia, PA, 19118 (Chestnut Hill). Tickets $20, in advance, cash only, can be purchased at Hideaway Music in Chestnut Hill (8428 Germantown Ave. in Chestnut Hill) or online using major credit card or PayPal. Tickets are $25 at the door, cash only. General admission seating.
