Oakland, CA: Jazz Social is a unique CD recording project created entirely online via a social networking site. Initiated by guitarist Dave Wright and facilitated by the social networking site for musicians, Kompoz.com, this recording project features Dave on guitar performing his original compositions accompanied by host of musicians from around the world!
Written, created and recorded online between September 2012 and May 2013, Jazz Social features eight original compositions in the “Mainstream Jazz" genre featuring standard Jazz instrumentation including Piano, Upright Acoustic Bass, Drums and Guitar, also featuring Hammond Organ and Bossa Nova style Guitar on one track.

About The Band: Dave Wright is a Guitarist/Composer currently living in the San Francisco Bay Area, this is his first release in the Straight-ahead Jazz genre.
