Fresh off a spell-bounding performance at this year’s 44th Annual Songwriters Hall of Fame Awards, alongside other musical performances during the evening which included Sting, Allison Krauss, Wiz Khalifa, Nickelback, Foreigner, Aerosmith and Jordin Sparks, Sheléa honored legendary songwriter Hal David with her performance of “Anyone Who Had a Heart."
Sheléa’s debut Love Fell On Me boasts production from the legendary Narada Michael Walden (Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Aretha Franklin, Diana Ross). Together they co-wrote and co-produced the up-tempo song “Have I Ever Told You.” The album also features multi-platinum selling R&B singer, songwriter, producer Brian McKnight on “Can’t Play It Cool” and the iconic Stevie Wonder on harmonica for the title track “Love Fell On Me,” a song which was chosen as the musical theme for the film Jumping the Broom (Angela Bassett, Paula Patton, Mike Epps).
