Guitarist Roman Miroshnichenko Releases "Surreal"

Surreal, the latest album by Russian jazz fusion guitarist, and Independent Music Award winner, Roman Miroshnichenko is now on sale through online digital distribution in North America at iTunes and CDBaby.

Surreal, is a global, collaborative production involving studios from four different continents: Europe, Asia, North, and South America, and some of the most preeminent musicians from Brazil, Argentina, France, the United States, and Indonesia. Artist featured include Latin Grammy winner, Daniel Figueiredo, Godfather of Fusion, Larry Coryell, Dominique di Piazza, Mario Olivares, Josquin des Pres, Alvin Lubis, and Mario Parmisano.

The album contains 12 tracks which consists of Miroshnichenko's own original compositions, several by guest composers, and some of Miroshnichenko's own interpretations and arrangements of well known pieces; such as a selection from Sergei Rachmaninoff's “Piano Concerto No. 2", Aleksandr Borodin's “Polovtsian Dances", and the bonus track, Astor Piazzolla's “Libertango".

The album cover artwork for Surreal is by American artist, Mike McGlothlen, and is in the style of legendary Surrealist painter, Salvador Dali.
